I will make it short.

1) Make sure you have the right suppliers, without that don’t even keep reading is very short post. Stop and start looking for them, maybe work for a wholesale clothing company, and try to get some names. When done, keep reading.

2) Invest in merchandise. I would say $50,000 will be a good start. If you can’t comeup with that money, you can still make it but it will take another approach were you will have to start by flipping clothig lots as a broker. I will have a post about it in the near future.

3) site. Physical and virtual. Assuming you have done step one ad two, your next step is getting the best looking website. Pay to the right company to build you the site. Make sure it looks better than your competitors sites, better user friendly and so.
Get a physical location in the right location. Yes local clients can always help so don’t forget to be visible.

3) promotion. In the first 3 month you have to do SEO and online as well as magazine advertisement.

4) start making money.

Wholesale Merchandise In Florida

The last few month, few wholesalers closed down their warehouses in palmetto park. The factory case, made in China concept is, for a while not working and the wholesalers at the part had to turn their stores into a retail business.

What seams to grow as a real wholesale idea is the store returns, and closeouts sold by Merchandize Liquidators. “Whats the point buying all new, case goods when the quality is bad and the price is high. its better of buying an item with better quality and known brand even if its not coming in a case”, said Mario Gonzales, a discount store owner in Miami.

Its better buying electronic pallets all mixed for 25 to 30 percent on the wholesale dollar vs buying it in case for100 percent on the dollar which is almost the same as retail cost.

Well, this post is regarding the latest teams and coping with the current economy. Here is a quick pick to the world of look a like made in China and the history behind it.

For The last two decads designer shoes where redesigned to a simillar look alike and manufactured in china. In othere words. Aldo, nine west, DKNY and other designer shoes had their shoes bought, re designs to a very similar look and sold

Now when the shoes get to the US approximately 85% are sold with in the first 30 days of article to fashion clothing and shoes stores the rest sit in warehouse and gather dust.

Those shoes are liquidated for liquidation companies

Now in our days, to manufacture a per of shoe in china the minimum cost is 5 us dollars. Bad Economy = Stores Bankrupt = Merchandise Liquidation = New Opportunities for YOU!

Here is how the little man can take advantage of the bad economy. More than 30 chain stores are closing some of their stores and many other stores declared bankruptcy in the last few months. These stores include Foot Locker, Home Depot, Circuit City, Ann Taylor, Linens ‘n Things, and Macy’s.

For every catastrophe, there is a new business opportunity, at least according to some people. For example, when Macy’s closed down a few of its stores, all the inventory was processed and moved to the liquidation centers in California and New Jersey. From there, it was sold to a liquidation company that broke down the inventory into small categorized lots (men’s clothing, men’s shoes, women’s designer clothes etc…) and then those get sold to the public. The goods were sold for about ten percent of the retail cost.

The liquidation company usually has a contract with Macy’s and agrees not to advertise the Macy’s name. Meaning, if you run into a site that claims to sell Macy’s overstock goods, it is probably a broker company that buys from the authorized liquidation company. The liquidation company for Macy’s is Merchandize Liquidators. For the most part you can find wholesale clothing sold in pallets. You can find this type of liquidation sold in stores like Ross and Marshalls. What most people don’t know is that just about anyone can buy this clothing in bulk from a liquidation company and sell it from their stores. For Walmart Liquidation ( yes they also have a liquidation program) the company to contact is Jacobs Trading.

The important thing to remember is that no matter what you are looking for there is probably a liquidation company out there for you to get what you need.

Wholesale Clothing By Pallet, Should You Try It?

Sometimes, they get them in bulk because they are replicas, and they have access to the distributor of these items.

In most states, as long as you have a resale license, you can buy anything associated with your business through a wholesaler (I used to work for a jewelery distributor, and we sold bulk items to different retail stores.)

Other people just spot good deals and take advantage of this. I have a friend who purchased a ton of authentic designer handbags from Lord & Taylor when they sold out in St. Louis. She was able to buy them on sale because she bought so many, but then was able to sell them for full price on Ebay. And this was 5 years ago, so as you can see buying from the pallet can really be worth it.

Truckloads Wholesale Clothing – How to know if the company you’re buying from is real

If you look around the liquidation industry, there are only few companies actually carry clothing by the truckloads at their facilities at all times while the most of them are brokers.

If you are a large buyer looking to buy at this scale and invest tens of thousands of dollars, you can easily buy from the wrong place. The question is how to know if you deal with a real company, not a broker or worst.

* First off, make sure the company is listed at the bbb.org for more than 36 month. There you can check also the company reputation.

* Do they have a Facebook account? most serious companies do.

*  Last but not least, is the location. Make sure you can visit their place. Even if you can’t make the trip, call and ask them if its possible to visit them. If you are being turnd away, its better off to let it go and buy somewhere else.

Its always good to make some online research before.

here are some liquidation companies for wholesale clothing we can recommend:

Joining College Clubs

Join College Clubs

If you are new to college life, maybe you have heard about the various student clubs or groups that exist in colleges. Virtually every college out there hosts a menagerie of different student clubs that cater to different aspects of a student’s life, basically anything that can unite people together to discuss something they share in common. Below we will see what comprise the most popular groups throughout colleges these days.

-Pastime Clubs: These are arguably the most common type of student clubs. Ranging from things like coin collecting to video gaming as well as music interests to poetry. The beauty of this is while some might call you crazy for liking something, the people in this type of club will wholeheartedly understand your interests.

- Cultural Clubs: These kind of clubs are based on the heritages or religions of the student body. For example, there might be clubs for students who are of Italian origin, groups for African Americans, Hispanics, and any other culture or nationality you can imagine. In terms of religions, there can be Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and other such groups.

- Sports Teams: Yes, these too are a type of club. How much better can it get to share your love of sports with others than actually playing them with fellow sports enthusiasts? This is certainly a way for the sports minded individual to connect with his peers on a deep level.

Whatever it is that tickles your fancy, there is probably a student club dedicated to it. If not, you can usually start a new one!

Apparel ShowRoom Vs Clothing Show Room

Many of us knows the company apparel showroom. It has been an industry leader in the wholesale clothing for the last few years which brought many imitators to create VERY similar sites.  Now when a new player comes to town with a site called Clothing Showroom we can think it is another look a like apparel showroom wannabe. WRONG

The original owner of apparel showroom (Yonni Kelerman) which I happen to know in person made something out of nothing building apparel showroom and soled it for good amount for another company.  Few days after the acquisition, Yonni had his new site Clothing Show Room up and running with a huge stock of tops, bottoms and what not.

Lately he added cosmetics as well which made the rest of the imitators do the same.

So to close this post, I will say, the innovator who made apparel showroom is coming back big and do not confuse him with the rest of the clothing wholesalers in LA. He is the real deal.
